Description Fabian Deutsch 2013-04-10 07:37:47 UTC
Description of problem:
currently the igorclient extracts an iso and pushes a separate kernel, initrd+kargs file to the server. this works but somewhat alters how the iso is tested (well, the iso isn't tested, just the kernel+initrd).
this prevents testing of the bootability of the iso e.g with efi.

the idea is to directly use the iso instead of extracting it.

Comment 1 Fabian Deutsch 2013-04-12 13:23:50 UTC
Probleme here is that we can't use custom kargs (which are needed to trigger some code paths)

Comment 2 Fabian Deutsch 2013-07-18 15:49:28 UTC
We'll always have to do it that way to be able to add custom kargs
