Description Stef Walter 2013-04-18 09:35:36 UTC
In Fedora 19 alpha, I cannot log in as a FreeIPA user with an @ sign in the login name, such as fry.lan.

[stef@stef-redhat ~]$ getent passwd fry.lan
fry.lan:*:766000001:766000001:Philip Fry:/home/fry:/bin/sh

I verified the home directory exists.

The greeter completes, and GDM goes away, but then I either get stuck at a black screen with an old school X cursor, or get bounced back to the login screen.

Installed Packages
Name : gdm
Arch : x86_64
Epoch : 1
Version : 3.8.0
Release : 2.fc19

This may not be a gdm issue. But need to track this down before reassigning.

I believe this has been fixed in GDM for a while now.
