Description Dag Odenhall 2013-04-20 16:59:01 UTC
Description of problem:
After installing updates in my F19 VM and rebooting, the Guest account from the 'xguest' package is no longer listed in GDM or the GNOME Users Settings. I can still log in as 'xguest' by using the "Not selected?" option in GDM.

Downgrading the accountsservice packages to 0:0.6.30 and rebooting fixes the problem.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
0:0.6.31-1.fc19

How reproducible:
Fully.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install 'xguest'
2. Upgrade accountsservice{,-libs} to 0:0.6.31-1.fc19
3. Reboot

Actual results:
'Guest' account not listed in GDM

Expected results:
'Guest' account listed among the other user accounts in GDM.

Comment 1 Dag Odenhall 2013-04-22 16:33:05 UTC
It seems if I use GNOME Users Settings to set "Log in without a password" for the Guest account before upgrading accountsservice, it still works after upgrade.

Comment 2 Matthias Clasen 2013-05-31 01:24:59 UTC
I think this is fixed in 0.6.32. Please reopen if you still have this problem with 0.6.32
