Description of problem:

Google Account with two-step verification fails to sync, repeatedly giving the message "credentials have expired" after going through the various web-based dialogues granting Gnome access to the Google account.  Empathy doesn't display contacts, Evolution cannot connect to gmail.  IRC and Facebook accounts work on the same setup.
