Description Jean-frederic Clere 2013-05-07 06:33:48 UTC
There isn't a description of the system-properties that can be used to control (globally) the web subsystem.
Most of the properties are described in http://docs.jboss.org/jbossweb/7.0.x/sysprops.html note that it misses the
properties of the integration code of the sub-system.

I think all the system properties should go in "Chapter 15. Web
Subsystem" of the Admin guide.

Jean-frederic,

I agree that this information is important and should be added to the EAP documentation. However we are past the point at which we can add new content to documentation for EAP 6.1.0. Instead I will tag this to be addressed within the next EAP cycle.

Comment 4 Radim Hatlapatka 2015-01-14 15:12:17 UTC
I have already checked part of the system properties based on earlier build delivered not knowing about this BZ. There are some issues mainly connected to default values, see https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1159099#c7

Comment 10 Radim Hatlapatka 2015-01-23 09:37:10 UTC
Still not fixed:
org.apache.tomcat.util.buf.StringCache.trainThreshold - default is 100000, see [1]

org.apache.coyote.http11.Http11Protocol.MAX_HEADER_SIZE has invalid description (It contains description for org.apache.coyote.http11.Http11Protocol.COMPRESSION). All other descriptions are for wrong property.

Comment 11 Radim Hatlapatka 2015-01-23 09:42:13 UTC
Actually there is now the org.apache.tomcat.util.buf.StringCache.trainThreshold defined twice

Comment 17 Radim Hatlapatka 2015-01-28 13:14:48 UTC
Verified with EAP 6.4.0.ER1 and Doc in revision 6.4.0-13
