May I ask what exactly would you like yum to do? The output you sent is completely correct, yum is reporting the faulty state of your packages. Nothing we can do about it, as it is not a bug in yum. I'm closing this bug. A solution for your problem is to uninstall the kernel-module-openafs package from the cern repository - yum will stop complaining about the package state. Thank You! I removed the kernel-module-openafs package and the problem disappered. Giuseppe I get a similar error while trying to install Team Viewer on my Red Hat Enterprise Linux Workstation release 6.2 Multiple packages exist that are not compatible with each other. This is usually due to mixing packages from different software sources. ERROR with rpm_check_debug vs depsolve: What do I do? Where is CERN repository? Will removing kernel-module-openafs package cause any issues to my existing Red Hat Linux installation or any other applications? |
