Description Javier Ramirez 2013-05-28 13:25:36 UTC
Document URL:
https://access.redhat.com/site/documentation/en-US/Red_Hat_Enterprise_Linux/6/html/Identity_Management_Guide/defining-sudorules.html#about-external-sudo

Section Number and Name:
14.3.4. Defining sudo Rules in the Command Line

Describe the issue:
The documentation states about --externalhost option when adding a sudorule host, but this option is not implemented in the software:

[root@vmnxcifipal01 slapd-LVTC-GSNET-CORP]# ipa sudorule-add-host --externalhost=vmnxcipacl01 files-commands
Usage: ipa [global-options] sudorule-add-host SUDORULE-NAME [options]

ipa: error: no such option: --externalhost

Suggestions for improvement:

Add the feature to the software or remove it from the documentation.

Mass closure of bugs modified in 2013. All of these are in the currently-published docs.
