Description Sami-Pekka Hallikas 2003-06-11 16:38:51 UTC
From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows 98; .NET CLR 1.0.3705)

Description of problem:
You cannot use 'oldhd' type installation method. Oldhd method was that all
files was under same 'root'. But nowdays you must have ISO-images when doing
local HD-installation.

Please, add "oldhd method" back.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Just try make install without 'ISO-images'. Even if all 3 disks are 'Copied'
into source dir.

Additional info:

It seems that most of "oldhd" stuff has removed from anaconda sources.

(There was also oldhd bug in redhat 8.0, bugzilla id and fix was in #75077)

Comment 1 Jeremy Katz 2003-06-11 18:34:05 UTC
oldhd is not coming back. It was deprecated for 3 releases before being removed.
