Description Og Maciel 2013-06-12 22:08:05 UTC
Description of problem:

Currently, using subscription-manager to register a client using an activationkey against a Katello server does not automatically populate /etc/yum.repos.d/redhat.repo with all the repositories that the client should have access to. It is only after rhsmcertd runs (default seems to be of every 4 hours) that this file is populated. This is an issue for provisioning systems since Katello won't "know" what erratum are available right away.

Based on conversation with jsherrill, sub-man should do the equivalent of what running "yum repolist" does in order to populate redhat.repo.

As there is no subscription-manager component for this product, please advise where this BZ may be moved to.
