Description of problem:

When as root I try to run "rosdep init", it fails with an internal error.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

python-rospkg-1.0.20-1.20130318git0a4448e.fc19.noarch

How reproducible:

Every time

Steps to Reproduce:
1. sudo rosdep init

Actual results:

failed to load symbols, rosdep will not function properly
Cannot import rospkg, rosdep will not function properly

Did you source /usr/share/ros/setup.sh before running rosdep?

No I did not, but trying again after sourcing as above results in exactly the same error.

Ok, it looks like i accidentally pushed a version of rosdep that depends on catkin_pkg, which is still under review.  I'm going to add that review request as a blocker and try to get it into Fedora as soon as possible.  In the meantime you can try building the catkin_pkg rpm yourself.

* was pushed to the Fedora 18 testing repository,
* should be available at your local mirror within two days.
Update it with:
# su -c 'yum update --enablerepo=updates-testing python-rosdep-0.10.21-1.fc18'
as soon as you are able to.
