This could be fixed by http://patch-tracker.debian.org/patch/series/view/file/5.04-5+squeeze2/132-magic-update-bio-rad.patch This request was evaluated by Red Hat Product Management for inclusion in the current release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Because the affected component is not scheduled to be updated in the current release, Red Hat is unable to address this request at this time. Red Hat invites you to ask your support representative to propose this request, if appropriate, in the next release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux. (In reply to RHEL Product and Program Management from comment #3) > This request was evaluated by Red Hat Product Management for > inclusion in the current release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux. > Because the affected component is not scheduled to be updated > in the current release, Red Hat is unable to address this > request at this time. For RHEL 6, it is expected to be a supported Linux release for a few more years. (year 2017 is the end of Production 2). Do you see any reason that the simple bug should not be fixed? *** Bug 1054887 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA.
