Description Tim Waugh 2013-07-08 07:54:39 UTC
Description of problem:
Whenever I start transmission I see new sub-directories created in my home directory.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
transmission-gtk-2.77-3.fc19.x86_64
transmission-common-2.77-3.fc19.x86_64

How reproducible:
Every time.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.ls -1rt --show-control-chars
2.Start transmission.
3.ls -1rt --show-control-chars

Actual results:
Two extra directories are shown:

alt-speed-enabled
P

Stat shows the name of the second one as:
  File: ‘P\177’

I think this is a symptom of upstream ticket https://trac.transmissionbt.com/ticket/5377, which is fixed in 2.80.
