There are news for the RAID driver! The network driver is already incuded in the kernel, it's named 'sk98lin' and works great. I managed to get the sound card working using ALSA. Hope this helps... All of the integrated devices work in Fedora Core 1. BUT: The sk98lin has some bug in it because the machine halts when you try to bring down the NIC. This does not happen every time but very often anyway. The sk98lin driver informs about a hardware failure but I really doubt it since the NIC works. The driver itself is probably the faulty one. Thanks for the bug report. However, Red Hat no longer maintains this version of the product. Please upgrade to the latest version and open a new bug if the problem persists. The Fedora Legacy project (http://fedoralegacy.org/) maintains some older releases, and if you believe this bug is interesting to them, please report the problem in the bug tracker at: http://bugzilla.fedora.us/ |
