This is as expected. the iso builds in the node-base area on ovirt.org/releases are generic images. They are to be used as a basis for generating images that can be used for oVirt or OpenStack or Gluster, etc. Images that are compatible with oVirt will be made available with the oVirt 3.3 Beta release under ovirt.org/releases/3.3/iso |
Created attachment 774791 [details] ovirt node deployment log Description of problem: I installed ovirt-node-iso-3.0.0-5.0.1.el6.iso and when I want to approve it in oVirt wui it fails during installing phase "Failed to execute stage 'Misc configuration': [Errno 2] No such file or directory." Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): oVirt 3.2.1 ovirt-node-iso-3.0.0-5.0.1.el6.iso ovirt-node-iso-3.0.0-5.0.1.fc18.iso (same problem) How reproducible: Install ovirt-node-iso-3.0.0-5.0.1.fc18.iso on server Add it thru oVirt web- Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install ovirt-node-iso-3.0.0-5.0.1.fc18.iso 2. oVirt web: Host -> New -> Fill in -> Ok 3. Fails Actual results: Failing on installation. Expected results: Add to cluster Additional info: host-deploy-log in attachment.
