Description colin 2013-07-29 11:43:28 UTC
Description of problem:
Unfortunately, I was away from my PC for a few minutes {whilst letting it download the whole image sequence from the player for XKCD 'Time' ;-) http://geekwagon.net/projects/xkcd1190/}

I expected that Kde wouldl have gone into blank screen mode.

When I returned, and wiggled mouse and pressed keys to awaken from blank screen -screens would not respond.

PC still seemed to be running, just no video so I switched it off and on.

When I logged back in to KDE desktop - this null pointer error was there in the crash notifier.

F17 is going EOL tomorrow. There is no chance this will be fixed there. Please upgrade.
