That behavior is fine in 6.5 so long as it works like it does in normal booting mode. It was disabled in the 6.4 and lower due to the newt ui not redirecting the keystrokes properly so we disabled it from be allowed. The new tui seems to work fine. If you can't find any problems I'd recommend closing this bz

Hi Joey,

Thank you very much for your kind explanation! Below is my personal opinions and concerns.

1. We haven't been able to do full testing for 6.5 initial build so far, include redirecting the keystrokes properly and so on.
2. As a customer, we are looking forward to keep consistent between 6.4 and 6.5.
3. Security problems.
If enable run setup in rescue mode, in that case, users can modify the TUI.
So I suggest disable run setup in rescue mode.

Thanks!

rhev-hypervisor6-6.5-20131017.0
ovirt-node-3.0.1-4.el6.noarch

In rescue mode, after run "setup", "The TUI cannot be used in rescue mode, Please reboot without rescue to configure/install" will pop-up.

So the bug was fixed, change bug status to VERIFIED.
