Description Toni Willberg 2003-07-11 14:29:49 UTC
Hi.

Rawhide now provides a great new secure IMAP server, Dovecot.

Dovecot supports the maildir format for storing user's mail. However Rawhide
does not ship Maildrop package that's used for delivering the mail into maildir.

Or if you have some alternative to Maildrop please let me know. :)

Maildrop is compatible with many MTAs widthout modifications, including Sendmail.

There are some RPMs available that seem to work nicely in RH.

ps. I did not find any better place for requesting new package with bugzilla. :)
pss. reassign to someone else if needed ;)

Aargh, I was just educated that recent versions of Procmail can handle maildir
format too.

No need for maildrop then. :)

Sorry for the fuzz,
 Toni
