Description Elijah Newren 2003-07-21 19:38:57 UTC
From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.4) Gecko/20030703

I apologize if this is the wrong product or component--I was taking my best
guess after someone in #rhl-devel on irc.freenode.net directed me to bugzilla.

Description of problem:
At http://rhl.redhat.com/docs/release-notes/ under the Kernel Notes section, in
talking about Exec Shield, the following levels are listed (as well as two others):
  0 Exec-shield is always disabled
  3 Exec-shield is disabled

I'm guessing that enabled was meant for level 3, but even if I'm wrong on that
guess, I'm pretty sure you didn't mean to have both level 0 and level 3 be the
same thing.

Ouch! This one one of those things where a couple different people looked at
it, and both totally missed it. Thanks for letting us know; the change will
show up in the next beta...
