*********** MASS BUG UPDATE **************

We apologize for the inconvenience. There is a large number of bugs to go through and several of them have gone stale. Due to this, we are doing a mass bug update across all of the Fedora 19 kernel bugs.

Fedora 19 has now been rebased to 3.11.1-200.fc19. Please test this kernel update and let us know if you issue has been resolved or if it is still present with the newer kernel.

If you experience different issues, please open a new bug report for those.

i think it might be kde network manager that is stopping the suspend.

Comment 9 Bill McGonigle 2014-07-23 11:45:46 UTC
Seeing this here. I did have other users logged in, but now I do not. Suspend has worked in the past.

I saw some systemd processes lingering for the other users (systemd --user and sd-pam) after logging them out, but even with all their processes killed (ps aux to verify) suspend still wants auth.

I believe this needs to be a polkit bug, not a kernel bug - that's probably why nobody is looking at it.

This bug is being closed with INSUFFICIENT_DATA as there has not been a response in over 3 weeks. If you are still experiencing this issue, please reopen and attach the relevant data from the latest kernel you are running and any data that might have been requested previously.

Comment 12 Bill McGonigle 2014-12-10 17:41:02 UTC
I'm clearing needinfo based on my best supposition that this needs to be reassigned to polkit and isn't affected by a kernel rebase.
