Probably because its the same scenario, but I don't see the logs Can you pls supply the log for the import immediately after this fails (without restarting the engine and so...) *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 996005 *** |
Created attachment 785920 [details] ovirt engine log Description of problem: Importing of Templates causes an error in the engine.log, the import then never finishes. It appears that the copy of the template is made into the storage area but for some reason is never recognized by the engine. Import a template (in this case from Ovirt 3.2) into Ovirt 3.3 Nightly build Actual results: Events log states Starting to Import Template... however it never finishes. Watching the network traffic to the Posix Compliant FS storage I can see the data transfer takes place to the storage domain but the engine never recognizes that it is complete. Expected results: Template should import Additional info: If you restart ovirt-engine while it thinks it is still importing the Template it will fail to come back up correctly and an engine-cleanup / engine-setup is the only way I've found to recover from this.
