Description of problem: I am now using fedora 19 64bit. I did update my fedora by yum (sudo yum update, on GNOME 3, my main shell). The updating process finished completely, after updating, everything run fine. However after rebooting, when I login (correct password), There is a waiting screen and nothing happen. (normally, after 3 seconds, I will be transfer to my workspace, but now, it is not) Fortunately, I also have plan B for that. I have guest account and also MATE. I did try to login my main account : GNOME3 (cannot run) MATE (run) my guest account: GNOME3 (run) MATE (run) In such situation, it was very weird to me. I also attach my yum updating list. tail /var/log/yum.log Aug 26 21:23:22 Updated: fedora-release-19-3.noarch Aug 26 21:23:23 Updated: hwdata-0.255-1.fc19.noarch Aug 26 21:23:36 Installed: kernel-3.10.9-200.fc19.x86_64 Aug 26 21:23:38 Updated: glibc-2.17-13.fc19.i686 Aug 26 21:23:40 Installed: kernel-modules-extra-3.10.9-200.fc19.x86_64 Aug 26 21:23:41 Updated: SDL2-2.0.0-2.fc19.i686 Aug 26 21:23:41 Updated: libtiff-4.0.3-8.fc19.i686 Aug 26 21:23:42 Updated: 1:libusb-0.1.5-2.fc19.i686 Aug 26 21:23:43 Updated: tcp_wrappers-libs-7.6-75.fc19.i686 Aug 26 21:23:44 Updated: libvdpau-0.7-1.fc19.i686 P/S: Please help me, I really need my main account.
