Description Brian Brock 2013-08-26 23:15:11 UTC
hwcert-backend plan on i386 asks to install kvm-tools, which loops forever because kvm-tools (and kvm in general) are not part of rhel5.

hwcert-client-1.5.9-37.el5

occurs the first time that `hwcert-backend plan` is run on a system.

KVM tools should be part of RHEL5, although I think they are in another channel?

During hwcert for RHEL5, we do not require KVM testing but instead -xen testing. When the kvm tools are installed the fv tests should run correctly on RHEL5. This is by design to allow for testing by others. If the -xen kernel is installed the -xen testing should happen.

Setting needinfo on Greg for verification.

Sorry, I misunderstood. Yes, no KVM support on RHEL5 i386 and the testsuite shouldn't ask for kvm-tools on the arch. Feel free to open and I'll patch if you think necessary.
