Description David Botzer 2013-09-02 06:30:39 UTC
Created attachment 792720 [details]
rhevm33-is12

Description of problem:
VDS should be cleaned (/rhev/datacenter) when removing entities completly from the setup,
[VDSM] - Host has leftovers with storage information on previous setup (Storage leftovers on VDS /rhev/datacenter)

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
3.3/is12
vdsm-4.12.0-92.gita04386d.el6ev.x86_64
libvirt-0.10.2-18.el6_4.9.x86_64

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
Setup -> 1DC, 1CL, 1Host, 1Storage
1. The user should verify that there are no leftovers on the VDS (/rhev/datacenter) after deleting VMs or Storage devices from a setup
Or when removing a host from setup

2. Add New DC, Cluster, Host & Master SD
3. Delete the Storage domain(master)
4. Deleting Storage & Host from setup - found leftovers on VDS

Actual results:

Expected results:

Additional info:
The VDS was clean-installed rhel64, and added to rhevm3.3/is12

I also tested with New Blank VM, and 1 Disk 1G preallocated

What do you mean by "The user should verify?"

Did you verify that there was no leftovers before deleting the vms or storage?

Can you provide the output of ls -lhR showing the files in the data center at this point?

> 3. Delete the Storage domain(master)

How did you delete the one and only master storage domain?

Can you speficy the operations in the engine that you performed in order to delete the master storage domain?
