Hello Len, I have been installing SOA 6.0 ER2 ontop of EAP 6.1 but am unable to reproduce your experience. First I tried with java -version java version "1.7.0_09-icedtea" OpenJDK Runtime Environment (rhel-2.3.4.1.el6_3-x86_64) OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 23.2-b09, mixed mode) (With relates the bug below) https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=994682 Then also tried with java -version java version "1.7.0_25" OpenJDK Runtime Environment (rhel-2.3.10.4.el6_4-x86_64) OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 23.7-b01, mixed mode) Other information on the machine uname -a Linux localhost.localdomain 2.6.32-358.el6.x86_64 #1 SMP Tue Jan 29 11:47:41 EST 2013 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux cat /etc/redhat-release Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 6.4 (Santiago) Steps I took. 1. The issue is visible when installing to a directory that contains file named jboss-eap-6.1.1.zip
The new See Also bug contains the root cause. The resolution to that bug should also resolve this bug.
The newest build resolves this issue.
Verified fixed in ER3 (Sept 20 repin)
