Description Elias Ross 2013-09-06 19:10:53 UTC
Description of problem:

There is no option to set the expiration or removal of component errors, specifically Resource.getResourceErrors(). These can accumulate over time, especially if resource availability times out over hundreds of instances, even if it only happens periodically.

(See Bug 971556 on a solution to timeouts.)

RHQ should have a way to periodically clean these up. Perhaps using a server plugin of some sort?

There is actually no CLI or REST interface either, that I am aware of.
