Description Sergey 2000-03-08 14:50:55 UTC
Sometimes instead of playing mp3 file, xmms creates a big wav file in my
home directory and don't play anything.

I tried xmms 0.9.5 and 1.0.1

It's selected the disk writer output plugin, most likely
because of upgrades from versions that install into
different directories (/usr/bin vs. /usr/X11R6/bin.)

Either upgrade to the xmms currently in rawhide, or
just reselect the appropriate output plugin in
the preferences.
