Description of problem: Just installed the following packages onto my RH 9 system. rpm -Fhv rhpl-0.93.4-1.i386.rpm rpm -Fhv redhat-config-network-tui-1.2.13-1.noarch.rpm rpm -Fhv redhat-config-network-1.2.13-1.noarch.rpm Now redhat-config-network refuses to deactivate my ppp0 connnection. A little window appears briefly then disappears. Don't think was any text in the litle window. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): See above. How reproducible: Every time. Steps to Reproduce: 1.Connect to Internet using redhat-config-network. 2.Wait a few minutes. 3.Attempt to disconnect using the Deactivate button. 4.Hey presto. Actual results: No disconnection. Expected results: The ppp0 row should go from Active to Inactive. Additional info: It worked with the RH 9 versions, but not with the updated versions.
please try 1.2.14 from http://people.redhat.com/harald/redhat-config-network/
V 1.2.14 seems to work ok, but you need to get others to try it with other combinations of devices and nicknames. DWL
