ABRT directory bundle

Description of problem:
After a fedup update to F20 Alpha, my laptop is without network. No icon in the gnome panel either. After some tinkering, I discover that NetworkManager.service is not running, so I attempted to start it. An icon appears, and after few seconds disappears again, but well-known ABRT notification pops out. I have collected the ABRT items, because, well, ABRT is not really useful on a system without network :)

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
NetworkManager-0.9.9.0-12.git20130913.fc20.x86_64

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. systemctl start NetworkManager.service

Actual results:
ABRT

Expected results:
Happy networking

Additional info:

This line from journalctl _SYSTEMD_UNIT=NetworkManager.service looks suspicious:

NetworkManager[2653]: ERROR:rdisc/nm-lndp-rdisc.c:601:nm_lndp_rdisc_init: assertion failed: (!error)

Comment 1 Dan Williams 2013-09-26 17:33:13 UTC
Do you have IPv6 disabled on your machine in the kernel?

Comment 2 Dan Williams 2013-09-26 17:44:19 UTC
Possible fix posted upstream in dcbw/rh1011698-ndp-init-error branch.

Comment 3 Petr Muller 2014-06-30 14:49:17 UTC
I believe I did have ipv6 disabled back then. Sorry for not responding.
