Description of problem:
------------------------
For a volume in a cluster managed by Console, clicking on the bricks tab does not display the bricks for more than 15 minutes, and remains in the loading state. On switching between the tabs, the bricks are displayed. On switching between tabs again, the bricks information is not displayed and the tab shows as loading for a long time.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Red Hat Storage Console Version: 2.1.1-0.0.1.master.el6ev

How reproducible:
Frequently

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a volume and start it.
2. Select the volume in the Volumes tab and click on the Bricks tab for the volume.
3. Once the brick information is displayed, switch between the different sub-tabs and click on Bricks again.

Actual results:
Bricks information is not displayed and the tab keeps loading for a very long time until the user clicks on a different tab.

Expected results:
Bricks information should be displayed within a very short time even after switching between tabs.

Additional info:
Engine logs attached.

Comment 3 Shruti Sampat 2013-11-19 09:09:37 UTC
Hi,

Noticed that the Bricks sub-tab does not load for a long time when the following steps are followed -

1. Select a volume from the Volumes tab and click on the Bricks sub-tab. It displays the bricks.

2. Logout of RHSC.

3. Login and select any volume from under the Volumes tab.

The bricks sub-tab does not load the bricks list for a long time. Similar behavior is seen with the Volume Options sub-tab.

When similar steps are followed for the Permissions sub-tab, it loads after a few seconds.

Re-assigning the BZ.

Comment 4 Ramesh N 2013-11-25 10:11:25 UTC
Same issue was reproducible when user navigate to different volumes using the
left side system panel having bricks sub tab opened. With this fix
all these scenario got fixed.

Note: IN some scenarios it will take 5-10 seconds to load the table but it should come for sure.

Comment 5 Shruti Sampat 2013-11-25 11:59:51 UTC
Verified with the scenarios mentioned in comments #3 and #4 on Red Hat Storage Console Version: 2.1.2-0.25.master.el6_5.
