Description Chris Ricker 2003-08-06 12:22:55 UTC
When I try to update my severn -> rawhide system to the latest rawhide, I get

[root@skuld root]# yum update
Gathering header information file(s) from server(s)
Server: Red Hat Linux 9.0.93 - i386 - Base
Finding updated packages
Downloading needed headers
Resolving dependencies
.package evolution needs libgal-2.0.so.3 (not provided)
[root@skuld root]# rpm -q libgal

The problem appears to be that libgal2-1.99.9-2.i386.rpm provides
libgal-2.0.so.5, not libgal-2.0.so.3

Probably just a case of evolution needing an automated rebuild?

Comment 1 Jeremy Katz 2003-08-06 14:53:37 UTC
evolution 1.4.4 hadn't quite finished building yet to make it into rawhide and
close the dependency universe.
