Description Jan Hutař 2013-10-14 18:05:37 UTC
Description of problem:
Channel rhn-tools-rhel-s390x-server-5.6.z is not shown as child of rhel-s390x-server-5.6.z although for 5.3.z it works as expected and channel definitions seem same (besides version info) (as confirmed by jblazek - thanks).

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
current

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1) Downloads -> Downloads -> Red Hat Network Satellite
   Filter by Product Channel:
Red Hat Enterprise Linux - version: 5.6
Click on "[+]" to expand the list and note:
Channel rhel-s390x-server-5.6.z linked from first column:
           https://rhn.redhat.com/network/software/channels/details.pxt?cid=11184
In column "Red Hat Network Tools Server 5.6" link to
corresponding RHN Tools channel is missing

2) Downloads -> Packages -> "spacewalk-oscap" and click Search
Click to found "spacewalk-oscap" and then on "spacewalk-oscap-0.0.16-1.el5sat.noarch"
Note that in "Available From:" there is "rhn-tools-rhel-s390x-server-5.6.z"
Click on it and check "Parent Channel:" which leads to rhel-s390x-server-5.6.z
         https://rhn.redhat.com/network/software/channels/details.pxt?cid=11184

Actual results:
In Downloads -> Downloads -> Red Hat Network Satellite channel rhn-tools-rhel-s390x-server-5.6.z is not shown as child of rhel-s390x-server-5.6.z

Expected results:
It should be shown there.

As you may already be aware, Red Hat is transitioning from the Red Hat Network (RHN) hosted interface to the Red Hat Subscription Management (RHSM) interface in July 2017. Red Hat has invested in and seen success from RHN for many years, and used that experience to build more robust technologies like RHSM.

If you have not yet migrated your RHN systems to RHSM or you are a Red Hat Satellite customer, please review the information from. https://access.redhat.com/products/red-hat-subscription-management#migration.

Since we are shutting down RHN, no further actions will be taken with this bug or enhancement request. You can find additional information at RHSM product page (https://access.redhat.com/products/red-hat-subscription-management). If you have further questions, please contact support (https://access.redhat.com/products/red-hat-subscription-management#support).
