Red Hat Satellite engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on Satellite to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). If you're a Red Hat customer, please continue to file support cases via the Red Hat customer portal. If you're not, please head to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira and file new tickets here. Individual Bugzilla bugs will be migrated starting at the end of May. If you cannot log in to RH Jira, please consult article #7032570. That failing, please send an e-mail to the RH Jira admins at rh-issues@redhat.com to troubleshoot your issue as a user management inquiry. The email creates a ServiceNow ticket with Red Hat. Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/SAT-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

Description Ales Dujicek 2013-10-15 09:07:49 UTC
Description of problem:

When uploading puppet module to repository using cli, module is not counted in "repo info Puppet Module Count" and cannot be found by "puppet_module search".

> repo create --org kiki --name puppy --product product --content_type puppet
> repo content_upload --org kiki --repo puppy --product product --filepath /tmp/garethr-docker-0.4.1.tar.gz --content_type puppet
> puppet_module list --org kiki --repo puppy --product product
b460db30-53eb-4541-a8d8-fb0440fbedbd garethr-docker Gareth Rushgrove 0.4.1

so puppet module is uploaded but:

> repo info --org kiki --name puppy --product product
...
Puppet Module Count : 0
...
> puppet_module search --org kiki --repo puppy --product product --query *
nothing

Comment 5 David Davis 2013-10-21 21:00:46 UTC
QE: please check the file system path (in /etc/puppet/environments) after you upload a puppet module to make sure it doesn't contain the author name. This should fix that.

Comment 7 Ales Dujicek 2013-10-22 07:57:52 UTC
takin..

Comment 8 Ales Dujicek 2013-10-22 09:05:45 UTC
uploaded: garethr-docker-0.4.1.tar.gz
path was: /etc/puppet/environments/KT_puppy_Library_Default_Organization_View_8/modules/docker/

repo info OK, puppet search OK

-> Verified.
