I borrowed a ppc64 system running 3.11.4-201.fc19.ppc64 and ran the testsuite using HEAD systemtap. The systemtap.base/perf.exp testcase caused the system to be unresponsive, but other than that the testsuite ran reasonably. I didn't see any of the call traces shown in this bug report.
