Description Andrew Cathrow 2013-11-03 17:48:51 UTC
"8.2. Supported Virtual Machine Operating Systems" section should be updated to includes SLES 11 and SLES 10 (32 and 64 bit)

Comment 1 Jodi Biddle 2013-11-06 23:52:44 UTC
Suse support details added to the table in the section mentioned by acathrow in comment 0. Also added supplemental details about support as per email between myself and acathrow:

<snip>
On to this page
https://access.redhat.com/site/documentation/en-US/Red_Hat_Enterprise_Virtualization/3.2/html/Administration_Guide/Supported_virtual_machines.html

We can add two lines

SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10[1]   32bit, 64bit    No [2]
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11[1]   32bit, 64bit    No [2]

And two foot notes, with something like ...

[1]
Select "Other Linux" for the guest type in the RHEV Admin UI and User portal.

[2] Spice drivers (QXL) are not supplied by Red Hat however the distribution vendor may provide Spice drivers as part of their distribution.

And finally
Please see http://www.redhat.com/resourcelibrary/articles/enterprise-linux-virtualization-support for the up to date guest support statement.
