Description Bryan Kearney 2013-11-26 18:10:56 UTC
This is due to the group adds in rpm files not be executed.

To Verfiy:
- Configure a machine with LDAP support
- Install Katello

Notes from Lzap:

System level LDAP support - means that the underlying system is
connected to a directory service (Kerberos, LDAP, NIS). In that
scenarios, customer had to (wrongly) configure the system not to
authenticate against local accounts (list of required system accounts
was provided). There are mechanisms in RHEL to authenticate against both
(PAM, SSSD), but I assume this was not configured properly or something.

Since this issue was entered in Red Hat Bugzilla, the release flag has been
set to ? to ensure that it is properly evaluated for this release.

Comment 6 Mike McCune 2014-07-29 19:53:19 UTC
This is more of an RFE to support LDAP based system level accounts.
