Description Jes Sorensen 2013-11-28 09:43:14 UTC
+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #978846 +++

Description of problem:
Installing Fedora 19-RC2, trying to create a user account during the install
process. When specifying my normal uid (151072) the GUI resets it to 32535.
Looks like it disallows anything above 32535.

Please fix before the release.

Testing Fedora 20 Alpha, and this bug still exists.

4 months and this bug still hasn't been touched - this problem is still
present in Fedora 20 Beta !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Comment 1 Jes Sorensen 2013-11-28 09:45:01 UTC
Even worse than Anaconda, the GNOME User admin tool does not allow one to
specify the userid of a new user account.

This makes it rather complicated to match up your userids on multiple local
systems!

Was told this is probably a control-center bug - so reassigning it there

Filed matching bugzilla with GNOME here:
