Description Patrick Meehan 2013-12-01 17:21:17 UTC
Description of problem:

When installing software sequentially using Yum Extender, during the installation of the 3rd software package, icons, buttons, progress bar, disappear from yumex's popup menus & dialogues. The 'hot spot area' where, for example a button should be, is still active.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

3.0.13

How reproducible:

Always occurs either during or after the 3rd software package is installed.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Run Yum Extender.

2. Select a software package to install and install the software.

3. Repeat the above process for a second and third software package. It is at this point the problem occurs.

Actual results:

As the GUI status & information disappear from yumex's popup menus etc. it becomes impossible to carry on using the software. However, selected software is successfully installed.

Expected results:

The progress & status information should be displayed during software installation via various poup windows. These should then disappear leaving you at the main Yum Extender window once the selected software has been successfully installed.

Additional info:

It appears, for whatever reason, that during installation of the third or more software package yumex's GUI starts to 'block'.

I found it to happen more than that, usually after any error.
