After installation of python3-ipython-console package, ipython3 can't be started with following traceback: Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/bin/ipython3", line 5, in <module> from pkg_resources import load_entry_point ImportError: No module named 'pkg_resources' Manual installation of python3-setuptools resolved the issue.
