The icon used by rhn-setup-gnome looks very outdated on the RHEL7 desktop - it is basically unchanged from the Bluecurve era. I'm attaching it for reference

Could you attach a screen shot of the Icon within RHEL 7 ? 

Save me from installing RHEL 7, just to look at context :)

I can, after meetings. I've asked Jakub Steiner to give this a quick look and perhaps come up with a more modern icon.
