Comment 12 Bohuslav "Slavek" Kabrda 2013-12-04 12:34:23 UTC
Thanks for the report. We'll put the newest devassistant version (0.8.0) to F20 as soon as it gets released (which should be very soon) and this should be fixed there.

Comment 13 Fedora Update System 2013-12-04 14:40:56 UTC
devassistant-0.8.0-1.fc20 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 20.

Comment 17 Petr Hracek 2013-12-05 08:22:13 UTC
Hi,

you mentioned steps
"C" -> Created Dir -> crashed.

When I pressed on button Browse then I am not able to create directory.
How did you create directory by DevAssistant GUI?

Comment 18 Bohuslav "Slavek" Kabrda 2013-12-05 08:50:05 UTC
Hmm, I'm starting to think that this is a problem in gkt+/pygobject. Could you send me output of these:

rpm -q pygobject3
rpm -q gobject-introspection
rpm -q gtk3

Just to make sure I understand what you did:
- You ran devassistant GUI
- You clicked on "C"
- You put some string in "Project name" text field
- You clicked run
- And then DevAssistant failed

Is this correct? If not, what else did you do?
Thanks.

Comment 19 Onuralp SEZER 2013-12-05 12:57:06 UTC

pygobject3-3.10.2-1.fc20.x86_64
gobject-introspection-1.38.0-1.fc20.x86_64
gtk3-3.10.5-1.fc20.x86_64

This is what I did ;

- You ran devassistant GUI
- You clicked on "C" or any other language It happens in all of them
- Set Project Name
- For project place click "Browse" then click "New Folder" and ...
- Crashed

So point is "New Folder" part make Seg Fault and abrt create report for it.

Comment 20 Onuralp SEZER 2013-12-05 13:03:30 UTC
