I didn't remember adding this, so I looked at the revision history. This note was added by Jared Morgan on 11/01/2013 based on an email thread between Russell and me. I am searching for the email to understand the details of why it was added.

Sent email to Jared and Tom Wells asking for details and status.
Domain mode was added last minute into RHJP 6.1 (the note was made in this topic for the 6.0 release). It is fine to remove this note in this topic.
