Description Vimal Patel 2013-12-05 19:24:58 UTC
Description of problem:
After a reboot of the tools install with a Win7 VM setup w/4 displays (client has 2 monitors), connecting to the VM from the user portal with full screen auto conf results in 2 displays being in full screen setup on the cient's 2 monitors and display 3&4 are disabled (As expected).

If the user goes out of full screen and enables display 3 and 4 closes out the virt-viewer, and brings it up again with full screen auto conf, results in 2 displays being in full screen setup on the client's 2 monitors; however, display 3 & 4 and not disabled they are in the background and sometimes in the foreground above the other 2 displays (This is not expected, and this behavior is not seen with a RH 6.5 VM, which will continue to show only 1 & 2 displays in full screen and disable the 3rd and 4th display).

duplicate of bug 1038726?

Comment 2 Michal Skrivanek 2014-01-14 13:39:19 UTC
Uri, can you confirm and possibly close duplicate?

Comment 3 Uri Lublin 2014-06-09 13:22:55 UTC
I think vdagent-win-3.3-1 is the one provided by is24.1, which is relatively new, and it's not a vdagent-win problem.
I tested this with mingw-virt-viewer 0.5.6-24.el6_5.3.3.1 and it works as expected.
Still need to figure out the bug that fixed it so I could close as duplicate.

Shall we close this as CURRENTRELEASE?
