Is this a default port? I didn't setup anything on this so it seems to be the default port. But maybe someone who's more familiar with JBoss can give a more exact answer.
Google has told me nothing about a relationship between jboss and this port. You can label this port 9889 as jboss port. # semanage port -a -t jboss_debug_port_t -p tcp 9889 To stop the AVC from happening. Are you using jboss?
No, this happen when I was trying to upload some photos to an online-photo service which uses an java applet for the uploader.
Ok Does it always use the same port? You can turn off the protection by doing. # setsebool -P unconfined_mozilla_plugin_transition 0

Only definitions of this tcp port is Port for Cable network related data proxy or repeater EMC2 (Legato) Networker or Sun Solcitice Backup (Official) Which I doubt has any relationship to what you are doing.
