Description of problem: For 6.0.2, we didn't support multiple Puppet repos in a content view as the module names might well clash and no method to resolve conflicts had been implemented. CVs are therefore restricted to a single Puppet repo. Pulp though can now pick up and fully report these conflicts if they do occur. A method to specify precedence of repos should be implemented so multiple Puppet repos and then be supported. Ideas: - allow weight/priority per repo (see yum priorities) - allow override of individual modules to always come from repo X Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. create content view definition 2. try to attach multiple Puppet repos (e.g. one synced, one custom) 3. Actual results: Only possible to select one Expected results: Select multiple with a conflict resolution strategy Additional info:
Since this issue was entered in Red Hat Bugzilla, the release flag has been set to ? to ensure that it is properly evaluated for this release.
This is solved by the re-design of the Content Views in upstream. You now can pick puppet modules from the entire set of ones that are available in the environment and aren't tied to a 1:1 relationship of the puppet repo.
