Description of problem:

If exception is raised in domain monitor thread, the thread dies silently, making debugging impossible.

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Raise exception in _monitorLoop

Actual results:
Domain monitor thread dies silently.

Expected results:
Traceback in the log, showing the why the thread died.

bug 1034741 may be caused by such slient death.
