Description:

As a followup to http://lists.openstack.org/pipermail/openstack-dev/2013-June/010716.html.  The VHD format has a limit of around 2TB per disk.  In order to add very large amount of disk space several smaller disks need to be added to make up the space.  The optimum size to split on can vary based on different factors so it should be configurable to some extent.
