Description RHOS Integration 2013-12-12 18:32:15 UTC
Cloned from launchpad blueprint https://blueprints.launchpad.net/cinder/+spec/violin-memory-iscsi-volume-driver.

Description:

The Violin v6000 Openstack Storage Driver is a plugin to Openstack that will add support for block storage service via Violin v6000 arrays using iSCSI. It will implement the common set of functionality required for the Havana release (per support by current v6000 systems). The driver will communicate with the array using a separate Violin-specific python library that provides version-independent access to the array's REST API. That library is maintained by Violin and will be downloadable for users from Violin's website.
