Description RHOS Integration 2013-12-12 22:25:21 UTC
Cloned from launchpad blueprint https://blueprints.launchpad.net/neutron/+spec/device-inventory-management.

Description:

As we move forward to support hardware and virtual appliances as a backends for advanced services, we need to store information about actual devices that are on the network such as:
- address of the device
- service it implemets (service type, vendor info)
- access credentials,
- etc

Device inventory management is an admin and tenant-facing API.
Such inventory plugin could be utilized by several services: LBaaS, FWaaS, VPNaaS
