Description Chris Ricker 2003-09-11 19:28:29 UTC
Right now, I'm looking at the packages in the Red Hat Linux (Severn) 9.0.93 -
Beta Updates channel, filtered for kernel updates

https://rhn.redhat.com/network/software/channels/packages.pxt?cid=1110&filter_string=kernel&alphabar_column=NVRE

That shows me 9 packages:

kernel-2.4.22-1.2040.nptl
kernel-BOOT-2.4.22-1.2040.nptl
kernel-doc-2.4.22-1.2040.nptl
kernel-pcmcia-cs-3.1.31-13:1
kernel-smp-2.4.22-1.2040.nptl
kernel-smp-unsupported-2.4.21-20.1.2024.2.1.nptl
kernel-source-2.4.22-1.2040.nptl
kernel-unsupported-2.4.21-20.1.2024.2.1.nptl
kernel-utils-2.4-8.31:1

I selected 5 of those:

kernel-2.4.22-1.2040.nptl
kernel-doc-2.4.22-1.2040.nptl
kernel-source-2.4.22-1.2040.nptl
kernel-unsupported-2.4.21-20.1.2024.2.1.nptl
kernel-utils-2.4-8.31:1

and clicked "Download Packages". When I did, it told me that two of them are
available for multiple %{arch}:

kernel-2.4.22-1.2040.nptl i586 i686
kernel-unsupported-2.4.21-20.1.2024.2.1.nptl i586 i686

However, it only shows me the i586 and i686 architectures for those packages. I
need the athlon architectures.

If I download the packages one at a time (by clicking on their names), I can
manually select the athlon kernel at that point

https://rhn.redhat.com/network/software/packages/details.pxt?pid=155287

so they're there, the Download Packages feature that's being run just doesn't
appear to support athlon

The search results are now different-- it contains all packages (including
athlon). This appears to no longer be an issue
