Created attachment 837743 [details] image of the embedded image in the copr project list All the content in the "Description" field for a copr project is shown in the list of copr projects for a user. This is okay, until the user adds more detailed content to the description field, such as images (see attached screenshot) There are a few options we could take to fix this: 1. Truncate the description field and remove images when displaying in the coprs list. 2. Provide 2 fields for a copr project, a description, and a space for a longer description, (maybe README or something)
Woah, i just noticed that the description field is also in the repo file as markdown. http://copr.fedoraproject.org/coprs/ryanlerch/inkscape-unstable/repo/fedora-rawhide-i386/ so maybe option 2 is better, so we have a plain-text small description we can also put in the .repo file
That field suggest (via placeholder) that you should describe it *briefly*. This entry should not replace project page or wiki. I thought about it some time. But I do not want to make it more complex. If this ever become problem for more user I would put there more verbose explanation that this should be really short and not too much formated. Or remove the option for formatting completely. In the mean time closing as WONTFIX.
